So if a hose says "PET reinforced," it's not a polyethylene hose. It's a hose with a polyester braid inside. That distinction matters when you're checking chemical compatibility, bend radius, and pressure rating. Polyethylene and PET have different melting points, different stiffness, and different resistance to fuels and solvents. Mixing them up on an order form is a one-way ticket to an early failure.
